RAID 1 Disk Mirroring
ioBox™-200 provides a RAID 1 disk mirroring system. Two hot-swappable
hard disk bays support the SATA I/II industry standard. Compared
with a SCSI solution, ioBox™-200 greatly reduces the initial cost,
provides cost-effective data security and maximizes I/O performance.
Performance
The outstanding 500MHz RISC processor and Gigabit network interface
take everything in their stride and ioBox™-200 even supports up to
256 simultaneous user/device connections!
Convenience
A clean and straightforward graphical web interface makes system
management easy and includes a helpful setup wizard. The ability
to enable a service, create a user, or modify disk quotas with just
a few clicks, shortens deployment lead times.
Expansibility
Two hot-swappable internal SATA I/II hard disk bays make installing
additional storage a no-brainer. You can even add more external
storage through the high speed USB 2.0 interface.
Remote Data Replication
By using storage block level data replication technology, copying
data to another remote ioBox™-200 is simple, reliable and fast.
Reliability
Hot-swappable hard disk bays allow disk replacement without system
shut down. RAID 1 disk mirroring provides a cost effective solution
for data security. A low-noise internal cooling fan and aluminum
case reduce system temperature and extend disk life.
Energy Saving
ioBox™-200 is electronically and physically designed for low power
consumption and includes a sleeping mode for disk power saving,
noise reduction and minimum heat generation.
