How do I upgrade the firmware for ioBox™-100HD? |

You can select either offline or online firmware upgrade:
Offline firmware upgrade:
1. Download the latest firmware and extract all files to the root of a USB thumbdrive
2. Plug USB thumbdrive into ioBox™-100HD
3. Select USB thumbdrive in "Media Source"
4. Select "File", browse "usbupdate.html" and follow on screen instructions to update firmware
Online firmware upgrade:
1. Connect ioBox™-100HD to internet
2. Go to "Setup" > "Maintenance"
3. Select "check for firmware update" and follow on screen instructions to update firmware

How do I install the NMT application for ioBox™-100HD? |

1. Download the latest firmware and extract file "syb8634.nmt" to the root of USB thumbdrive
2. Go to "Setup" > "Maintenance"
3. Select "NMT setup wizard"
4. Select "Fresh Setup" and press "next"
5. Select the hard disk and press "next"
6. Select "ext2" or "ext3" disk format and press "next"
7. Select "USB" and press "next" to start hard disk format and NMT application installation process

Can I copy video files from USB disk to ioBox™-100HD internal hard disk? |

Please make sure internal hard disk is formatted to ext2 or ext3 disk format, otherwise it can't be written to.
1. Select "Media Source" is USB thumbdrive and browse to source folder
2. Highlight the file/folder, press "FILE MODE" button on remote control
3. Select "add to list" and repeat step[2] add multiple items to the list
4. Press "HOME" button on remote control, select hard disk and browse to target folder
5. Press "FILE MODE" button again, select "copy listed items here"
6. Files/folders will copy to ioBox-100HD internal HDD.

- connect NFS server with UDP - "nfs://ioBox-200_IP:/sharename"
4. Input "User Name" and "Password"(for Samba server only) and save the settings
5. Now you can see the added network option in "Media Source"

As the internal drive will be formatted with Ext2 or Ext3, you must use a Windows driver (e.g., Ext2FSD) to mount ioBox-100HD internal hard disk to the PC.
Steps:
1. Download and install Ext2FSD program from http://www.ext2fsd.com/
2. Connect ioBox-100HD USB slave to the PC and run "Ext2 Volume Manager"
3. You can see there are 3 more partitions, (a)Ext2/3, (b)Swap, (c)Ext2/3
4. Select the largest size Ex2/3 partition and right click mouse button
5. Select "Change Drive Letter", then add a drive letter(e.g., I:) to this partition
6. Now you can access ioBox-100HD internal hard disk as I:\
7. If you want to disconnect ioBox-100HD from PC, please right click I: in "Ext2 Volume Manager" and select "Flush Cache to Disk" and then disconnect the USB cable.
